I hate that people assume that there are “natural” ways of living: that men are the pillars and women are the decoration. I hate that people assume that Muslims and other Brown people are extremists and that they hate America. I hate that people assume that you hate men if you identify as a feminist. I hate that people assume that just because we’re all Chinese that we automatically share something others can’t assume. I hate that people assume there is a difference between “us” and “them.”
